Green Smoothie

Green Smoothie

In the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day coming up, I decided to share a green smoothie recipe.  My kid’s love these.  I would have never guessed that they would.  One day, I made one for myself thinking they wouldn’t want any of it.  Arabella drank most of it, and Camden started begging for some.  I had to go make more.  It’s a great way to get some veggies in your little ones if they are picky eaters.

Here is my official smoothie taste tester.

She drank her own, and then I had to share this one with her too!

Green Smoothie
Recipe type: Drinks
Prep time:
Total time:
Serves: 2
  • ½ cup fresh or frozen mango
  • ½ cup fresh or frozen kale
  • ½ banana
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2-3 Tbsp coconut milk
  • 1 Tbsp lime juice
  • ice optional
  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. If using fresh (not frozen) ingredients, ice may be needed for a frothier texture.

If you are wondering what to do with the rest of the coconut milk, go here to learn a money saving tip for any leftover ingredients you might have.

Hope you enjoy this recipe as much as my smoothie taster!
