In honor of Father’s Day, I decided to compile a list of recipes worthy of the men in your life. All man approved by, of course, my husband John who has developed and cooked some of the recipes himself. One of the recipes is my own dad’s, who is an amazing cook himself. I am so thankful for my dad and husband. Both are attentive and loving dads and excellent cooks to boot.
If you’re looking for breakfast or brunch ideas, try this Red Pepper, Ham and Potato Frittata.
This Breakfast Spaghetti is a fun way to celebrate dad at breakfast. The kids will love it too!
Now for the manly meat recipes! These are The Best Ribs You’ll Ever Eat.
Try this Smoked Pork on the Grill for a crowd pleaser.
These Pulled Pork Tacos will be a huge hit with everyone. A little bit Mexican and a lot of good ole southern barbecue.
Southern Style Pork Eggrolls are a requested meal amongst our friends. Try them with some mustard based barbecue sauce. Soooo good!
These Barbecue Chicken Tostadas are easy to do with leftover chicken. Assemble when ready to eat.
For a little spicy action, try Buffalo Chicken 2 Ways – Rice Bowl or Burrito. We couldn’t decide which way we liked it better!
If you’re looking for some sides, look no further than my Dad’s Famous Grilled Potatoes. It’s a staple at almost every cookout at my parents house and becoming one at our house too.
Another favorite side at our house is my Festive Potato Salad. Sweet, salty and creamy all in one bite.
For dessert, look no further than these easy Dessert Wontons filled with bananas, chocolate and topped with powdered sugar and caramel. The kids can even assemble them – no frying with the kiddos, please!
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads…
…and dads who are now grandfathers.
Hope this gets your ideas going for a terrific Father’s Day meal for the men in your life!
